SPP Joins NASPAA and Wins Regional Awards at the 2026 NASPAA Student Simulation Competition

April 14, 2026 NEWS

Recently, School of Public Policy at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (SPP) was officially admitted as an Institutional Member of the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA). Six students nominated by SPP also delivered an outstanding performance and won regional awards in the 2026 NASPAA Student Simulation Competition. These accomplishments reflect the School’s international competitiveness and its strength in cultivating high-caliber talent in public policy education.

As a new NASPAA institutional member, SPP is well-positioned to meet Shenzhen's strategic needs as a global innovation hub. Building on the strong academic traditions of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, SPP leverages an English-medium environment, an internationally diverse faculty, and globally oriented curricula to prepare students for careers in international organizations, transnational affairs, and global governance.

ABOUT NASPAA

The organization is dedicated to sustaining and continuously improving the quality of public service education, and its accreditation is widely regarded as a key international mark of excellence for master’s degrees in public policy and related fields.

The faculty advisors, Professor Eun Yeong Choe and Professor Hua James Qin from SPP, provided critical training and strategic guidance that supported the students’ success.

In the future, SPP will actively engage with the NASPAA network, working with leading international institutions on curriculum development, student exchange, faculty visits, and international accreditation. SPP aims to make a distinctive contribution to the internationalization of public policy education in China.
