Programme

Information


M.A. in Public Policy is designed to develop academic talents capable of tackling complex public policy challenges. Rooted in foundational disciplines such as policy science, public administration, political science, economics, management and sociology, the curriculum will equip students with essential knowledge and conceptual frameworks of public policy. It will also foster their professional understanding of current public governance issues and enhance their competencies in identifying and resolving public policy issues, thereby preparing them to tackle the most critical public policy challenges on a global scale.

 

Notes: The programme offers several concentrations: Public Policy; AI and Governance; Law and Policy; and Health Policy and Management (pending approval).
 

Duration and Tution Fees

Study mode: Full-time

Length: 1 year

Tuition Fee: RMB 210,000 (pending)
 

M.Phil-Ph.D.in Public Policy:

2 to 4 years, pending approval

 

M.S.Sc in Urban Studies is designed to nurture scholars with a diverse academic background and a broad, global outlook. It will explore the complexity of urban development and urbanization theory, encompassing a range of disciplines including policy science, geography, urban planning, economics, sociology, and anthropology. This comprehensive approach aims to produce professionals who are adept at performing sophisticated analyses and possess a nuanced understanding of urban development and urbanization processes from a global perspective.

 

Notes: The programme offers two concentrations: Urban Policy and Governance, and Urban Environment and Resource Management.

 

Duration and Tution Fees

Study mode: Full-time/ Part-time

Length: 1 year for full-time mode; 

2 years for part-time mode

Tuition Fee: RMB 180,000 (pending)

Round 2: 15 Nov 2025 – 31 Jan 2026
Round 3: 23 Feb – 31 Mar 2026

Scholarships for new students (covering up to full tuition) are awarded on a rolling basis. We encourage applicants to submit all materials early through the online system.
